Collection of tools for Facebook

MonokaiToolbox is a free utility application for mobile coming from NorthStudio. It is a collection of tools that help enhance the user experience offered by the popular social media platform, Facebook. It comes with features and tools that are not currently found on the official app.

Building upon the base features of Facebook itself, MonokaiToolbox allows users to perform actions that would ordinarily not be possible. Its range of features includes advanced account management options, as well as enhanced security tools that help make using the social media platform safer and more private for everyone.

Facebook toolbox

Facebook is one of the pioneers of social media and is a platform that is still being used by millions of people to this very day. It has undergone plenty of changes through the years, both visually and usability-wise. Despite that, there are still plenty of user-requested features that it's still not capable of. Enter MonokaiToolkit, an app that aims to fill those needs.

There is plenty to unpack in this toolkit as it offers plenty of tools to take advantage of, starting with additional privacy options that let you do things like mass deleting posts, controlling who gets to see them, and even tallying their comments and likes. The same goes for friend management wherein you can purge your entire list, unfollow people, or delete inactive friends, and the like.

Other notable options include the ability to download stories, post long-form videos, or "unseen" the stories posted by others. Another handy feature is the Avatar Guard, which prevents others from opening and downloading your profile pictures. One thing to note before beginning is there have been some reports of users getting banned by Facebook after using this tool—exercise caution and use it responsibly.

Handy but worrisome

MonokaiToolkit brings plenty of options and features the official Facebook app still lacks. It's easy to set up and you can use its tools right away. With all of that being said, though, the reports of users getting banned are quite concerning. If you're willing to risk the possibility, then give it a try. Otherwise, just wait for future updates.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
